 For the post of Director General (Housing) / Project Director for the WAPDA Housing Scheme, the Pakistan WAPDA Foundation (PWF) has announced a high-level job opening. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced civil engineers and housing project managers to spearhead a major housing project for WAPDA personnel.

On a contractual basis, the hire offers an attractive fixed pay package plus extra benefits in accordance with PWF rules.

Position Summary
Role: Director General (Housing) / Project Director WAPDA Housing Scheme
Organization Pakistan WAPDA Foundation (PWF)
Open Merit: Eligibility
Gender Requirement: Pakistani Male Citizens Only

Length of time
• First contract one year
• Extendable depending on performance review
• Three years max or until age 65, whatever comes first

Payments
Fixed salary—to be negotiated depending on experience
• Advantages in conformity with PWF guidelines

Educational qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Master's degree in a related field

Age Minimum
Maximum age: 62 years

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates have to have:
- At least three years of expertise in governmental, semi-governmental, Armed Forces, DHA, or similar housing societies
• Planning and building of residential programs background
• land acquisition experience and consultant recruitment skills
• Administration of construction schedules and welfare-related initiatives
• Supervision of land acquisition, financial planning, forecasting, and contract bids
• Good decision-making aptitude

Liabilities
The selected candidates will:
• Plan and strategize for the growth of Housing Societies
• As Project Director, exercise administrative and financial authority.
Manage quality control and adherence to project requirements.
Create housing project implementation policies and processes.
• Fulfill objectives set by the Board of Directors.
• Accept further tasks delegated by the Board
